Welcome to this year
We've started making our own this year
Yeah, don't expect much here
The year we pretty much crapped out for a while
Like the number of the Illuminati, with 00 in the middle.
A golden year for us.
Not the Kubrick film, just reviews.
In the year 2000....
Older than dirt and twice as interesting!

BEDAZZLED
OR "HOW I GOT INTO HELL WITHOUT EVEN TRYING."
by pat

Eliziabth Hurley is super hot. Harold Ramis is a tried and true comedy director. Brendan Frasier is a vastly underrated talent in general. This movie had an easy recipe for success. So why didn't it do well? I chalk it up to the same people who made Eraser a hit, because this movie was damn funny, and everyone was above and beyond the call of funny. Brendan Frasier was absolutely hilarious, possibly the funniest he's ever been. Hurley, hot hot hot. And Ramis just has a knack for this stuff. Even 7-Up guy Orlando Jones was pretty good.

If I had a complaint, I'd say the wraparound, setting up and resolving the wacky premise, was a little slow and forced. Who cares? The movie was very funny, and I will see it again. If you like any of the above people, see Bedazzled. If you don't like them, you have no taste and deserve to continue watching movies that have Ryan Phillipe. Well, we won't stand by Orlando that strongly, but he's still better than Phillipe. One of those wooden cigar Indians is better than him. I know this isn't much of a review, but I'm young and inexperenced at this sort of thing.

As an added fun fact, while we're sort of on topic, did you know that Hollywood is full of people who have sold their soul to the Devil, and that he now controls 80% of the direct-to-video market? Explains the TWO Universal Soldier sequels, huh?

"Nice resume. Wait, does that say 'Club Paradise?'"
IN THIS SCENE, YOU'LL BE A DRUG DEALER. SAAAAY, YOU DON'T METHOD ACT BY ANY CHANCE?

"Well of course I am. I'm British!"
*YOU* ARE THE HOTTEST WOMAN IN THE MOVIE!
