WHAT LIES BENEATH
WHAT ROCKS BEYOND

I can say nothing bad. I know we are supposed to pick movies apart, but I just can't do it. This movie was so good. It was well paced, didn't give everything away too quick, and the camera work is phenominal. That's what I'm gonna harp on, so as not to ruin any surprises the trailer didn't ruin.

Special effects are supposed to support suspension of disbelief. I am therefore less impressed seeing an extra bumpy digital hubcap blow up the White House than seeing faces apperar and disappear in the backgroud almost subconsciously. To put as much work into exactly how steam forms and runs on a bathroom mirror as probably goes into a whole season of Voyager. Not that I mind Voyager. I never even bother with it. They just don't do mirror tricks.

If you have ever tried to film anything around mirrors, you know what a pain it was. Did you see yourself? D'oh! Well this movie ahs mirrors everywhere. It uses them in shots to do things that are simply impossible to film straight out. This is so hard without ruining anything, but cars, mirrors, a pan shot. You'll know it when you see it. And you should definitely see it.

"I didn't kill my...you!" "Yes, dear, I know."
BOTH STILL HOT

"Werewolves, the Devil, ghosts, bats, Maxwell Cauffield...when am I going to be cast with someone LEGITIMATE?"
WHERE'S THAT RAINCHECK, SHAKESPEARE?
Movie Fact B-7: Robert Zemeckis is the richest, most acclaimed director to be referred to as "Who?"
