pat![]() Can she act? Well, not exactly. I can't say any performance of hers has ever swept me to tears, but she can act the pants off of Lara Flynn Boyle, who oddly enough seems to be taking her pants off for old men who may be getting near-sighted. But I digress. Ms. Amick does not have what one would call a stellar filmography, but then who does? Now take your answer and open your own fan site. She does, however, have several key distinctions. first off, she was on "Twin Peaks," and worked with the legendary David Lynch. Second, she was in "Black Cat Run," written by Frank Darabont, who will some day be legend, and for now just rocks. She replaced the "Tattoo" role on the new "Fantasy Island," proving Gallileio's much argued theory that midgets, while funny, are not as appealing as perfect cleavage. Speaking of which, her other clear distinction is "Dreamlover." While I have not seen all of her films, yet, I am sure most don't compare with this one. Though on the surface it seems to be seedy SkineMax fare, it's actually quite good. I mean that as a movie it's good. The nude scenes are are just a bonus much like finding a seventh nugget in your six piece. Why complain? Just enjoy it. It's yummy, and it's free! Will she
ever be a household name? Likely not, not while fans like myself can't
even figure out how to pronounce it. What's with those little dots? I
can't type them, so they don't count! However, she is still working, and
the next time your local video store has a clearance sale, go ahead and
pick up a few of her films. They won't cost much more than a rental, and
you'll support a struggling hottie. |

Madchen also starred in Stephen King's "Sleepwalkers," featuring the song "Sleepwalk." An MP3 of Alex and Pat performing this song accapella will likely never be made available. And the world is a safer place. |
