COOK COOKS
*Yes, I know that's a lame caption. I feel like Entertainment Weekly

...and a bag of chips. Really good looking chips.

She's a bit like Natalie Portman, only with more curves and fewer good career choices. Sure, I may sit through "Anti-Trust" or "Get Carter" because she's in it, and she is very watchable, but they aren't exactly stellar films. I couldn't bring myself to watch "The Baby Sitters Club," which is probably a good thing if I ever decide to run for office. Anyway, her dry, almost uncomfortable delivery makes her that much more endearing. You know she's trying so hard to act, that makes it enough.

I should mention she does have her share of decent films. "She's All That" we are all aware of, a welcome return of the predictable geek turns hot 80's movies. "Carpool" was just plain likeable. I don't care if you believe me, anyone who admits they've seen it will tell you the same thing. "House of Yes" gets her some art film experience, which helps weigh out the "Texas Rangers" type films we have to sit through. While we can't look at her, she gets cool points for her work on "Batman Beyond." Lastly, "Josie and the Pussycats." Read the review. One of those rare DangerSeekers Unanimous Praise Selections.

This is your brain if you make another bad "Cook" pun.

Avoiding typecasting, Racael Leigh Cook declined the lead in "Gem! On Broadway!" The part was quickly snapped up by Jenna von Oy.
