FRIENDS OF
THE DANGERSEEKERS!
It's all about who you know. Having powerful allies is not only good in a game of RISK, where it's actually bad because usually you get screwed out of your allegiance so someone else can win, but it's good in the world of entertainment. As members of the entertainment field, both through our website and through other blossoming projects, we have made many allies. These people are aware of the power an allegiance con forge, and have been glomming onto us since. Please visit them so they have something to do. They keep calling and asking if we want to play RISK. Sorry, we're on a foosball kick. OUR FRIENDS These people have an actual connection with us. Not like that. Well, some of them. A band taking the crowds of Baltimore to the ropes by means of song, merriment, and a cleanly executed Irish Whip. Many rounds have been downed to their party song "Three Sips Charlie." Though AG cowrote a song with the identical title, there is no lasting rivalry. And take their Big Time Poll! Also, check out their picks to see where they met KG of the D. We're so proud. Another small film production group stuggling their way in the world today. Kind of bare bones, or as we like to say, to the point. Coming soon from them is "Dead Filler Lives!" starring Pateric J. Also featuring Jon Voight. Several years in the making. Several hours of viewing (and edited down more by the day!) An amazing actress, featured in "The Driver," she puts in time for Living Voices, an educational theater troupe, and her personal site is featured at MoonSong.Org. Her screenplay, "Storm," is currently in development. Pat's brother, a stand-up comedian with a sense of humor sicker than Pat's. He's available for birthday parties and rehab clinics. Not so much a close personal friend, as a place selling our stuff, so we suggest going there, picking up some DSFC swag, and some things from "The Driver" while you're at it. Al Sotto of The Driver co-hosts a weekly radio show about wrestling, women, and women in wrestling. Not for the Lifetime Network crowd, of course. They have archives of the show you can download as well. Also, Al has a film entitled Everything's Wonderful, which just had a premiere. Be a friend yourself! Get semi-regular emails about the semi-regular updates to our site! Just send something, any kind of message, to the link above, and I'll get you added to the list. We promise never to send anything you can't read at work, since work is actually where quite a bit of this site is created. ACQUAINTENCES OF DANGER! These we don't know so well, or maybe we just met them, possibly in passing, but they are worth looking at. Not like that. Well, some of them. No, not our Pat, who has indeed been angry and / or naked, but has never had a funny cartoon made about it. Brian Lynch's odd series, with titles like "Dude, Where's Mien Kamf" and "Any Which Wayans but Loose," is seriously worth a chunk of your time. Not exactly work appropriate. He is naked, after all. A new online film magazine based out of Toronto, their site has a nice design, well-written articles, and a passion for film. They don't have a Hall of Hot, though, so you'll still have to come back here for that. Often you'll find our reviews linked there. Even more often, you'll find movie news and rumors, without the long boring ramblings of An Incredibly Conceited Nerd Pateric J met this guy at the Pittsbirg Comicon. Real nice guy, with one of the funniest comics to come along in a while. Worth picking up just for "Weapon Brown." Worth checking the site just for "The Family Circus Sense." Worth continuing for all of the other great stuff. Funny as hell. The nation's foremost Drive-In Movie Critic, Joe Bob was doing what we do back when we weren't able to drive to a drive-in ourselves. It wasn't a long time ago, we just didn't have a designated driver, and the time Pat drove through the concession stand was just a mess. Mr. Briggs likes our site, we like his. If you like ours, do some math and get clicking. They called Jay & Silent Bob "The Ball Lickers." That's why Bob, AKA Pablo, AKA Kevin Smith took over and made one hell of a site about movies, comics, wrestling, TV, and more. A one-stop shop for all your entertainment digest needs. Also, they let Pat write some articles for them, seen here and here. Terry Moore is the nicest man in comics, possibly the universe. After meeting him, then borrowing a few issues from me, one guy I know who was never interested in the book bought all eight trade paperbacks within 24 hours. Very good stuff. THE REST These are just the places online that the DangerSeekers reccommend. We go to more places, but those may not be appropriate for such a kid-friendly site such as this.. Comic book news and commentary, great interviews, columns by industry professionals, and for an extra 35 cents, they'll even bag & board your monitor! Most of the Top Five picks for screenplays can be found here. A great, great site. Feel like there's no movie trivia out there for those of us who cruch mortals at such things? Here's a site by movie geeks that makes the challenges cool, even if you don't know the answers. The Invisibles are Photoshop excellence. If we fail to mention everyone in a movie, or if you'd like to know more about nearly anything you read here, screw the library! Go here. Truly amazing. Run your own virtual theater chain. Make virtual money based off of real film per-screen averages. Put Loews Cineplex out of business for real. Jim and Pat are completely hooked. The makers of Mr. Show. If you don't know Mr. Show, just know that you should, and will never be cool until you do. Consistently one of the funniest sites on the web. What the National Lampoon and "Not Neccesarily the News" would be today. If you don't remember them when they were in their heyday, don't worry. Just go and bookmark this one. Not a snuff / fecal site, like it sounds. Just a lot of funny stuff. Check out the reasons Cliff Yablonski Hates You. The pranks and fake SA pages are also great.
