Produced by Fallen Angel Productions and Sandy Spring Theater Group. Howard Goodall's wonderful musical recieves its U.S. Premiere in the Washington DC/Metro Area.

First introduced to producer Mia Reeves by her dear friend and music teacher, Brian Aschinger, this production of Girlfriends will be donating a portion of its proceeds to the American Cancer Society in Mr. Aschinger's name.

The cast and crew are thrilled to announce the involvement and kind dedication of renowned Brittish composer, Howard Goodall, and his assistant, Thea von der Heyde, who has graciously gifted them with their time and attention in arranging this fourth incarnation of Howard's show to suit American Audiences.

Girlfriends will open on May 9th, 2003 at 8:00pm at the Millian Memorial United Methodist Church in Rockville, MD. It will run Friday and Saturday at 8:00pm and Sunday at 3:00pm until June 1st.

An Original Cast Recording of the U.S. Premiere as well as posters and t-shirts will be available to the public at the performance. The "Making Of Girlfriends" DVD (produced by Danger Seekers Films) will be available soon after. Other novelty items can be purchased in our shop.

Thank you to our opening night audience! Girlfriends was extremely well received and the cast was charged with energy. A sucessful start to what we hope will be a wonderful run.

On top of quick paced and productive rehearsals, the Girlfriends cast has been busy performing "Outreaches" in the local community. Snippets of the show have been extremely well received at retirement homes and VA groups in the DC/Metro Area.

The location has been found! Girlfriends will have its U.S. Premiere at the Millian Memorial United Methodist Church in Rockville, MD on May 9, 2003 at 8pm.

Also, the cast and crew of Girlfriends would like to welcome aboard pianist, David Richardson and our new assistant stage manager, Robert Teachout.

Official rehearsals began on March 10, 2003. We are happy to announce that the show is fully cast with Joshua Davis jumping in to fill the last gap in the role of 'Guy'.

The U.S. Premiere Cast Recording goes to studio on April 5, 2003.

The show has been cast and rehearsals began 'unofficially' on Monday, March 3, 2003 at Mia's home in MD.

The search is still out for a suitable performance space for the Premiere of such an exciting show! More to come soon!
